GROUNDS FOREMAN
(REGIONAL ACCESS MAINTAINER)
Temporary, Part-time
(two positions)
Hourly Rate: $12.63
The N.H. Fish and Game Department is seeking applications for two temporary part-time Grounds Foreman positions. Their responsibilities will be to supervise and perform maintenance in a regional area of boat access facilities. Duties will involve maintenance of boat ramps, grounds, docks, fishing piers, kiosks, toilet facilities, signs, roads, and parking lots. The anticipated start date is April 9, 2010, with an anticipated end date of October 7, 2010. Weekly hours will be between 20-30.
Application deadline is March 19, 2010.
There are two openings:
- One position will be based out of Concord, N.H., and will require maintaining access sites in the Lakes Region.
- The other position will require maintaining access sites in the Lebanon – Claremont area; this person will work out of their residence. Applicant accepting this position needs to provide their own transportation, with the ability to haul a lawn mower, weedwacker and hand tools. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Experience: Two year of experience in the care and maintenance of large scale horticultural activities.
License/Certification: Valid New Hampshire Drivers License.
